Celebram o International Polar Year,. Recorde-se que a
celebração oficial teve lugar em Paris no dia 1 de Março . IPY Award
é patrocinado pelo Comité Italiano e pela ARI

Organizado pela Secção da ARI de Cassino, com o apoio do Lazio Committé
Regional da Lazio com esta oportunidade de celebrar o Ano Polar
Internacional l INTERNATIONAL POLAR YEAR (IPY), é com grande
satisfação que apresentam o DIPLOMA ANO INTERNACIONAL POLAR em inglês
INTERNATIONAL POLAR YEAR (IPY) Award, com início dia 1 de Março de 2007
e fim em Fevereiro de 2009, como contribuição para a celebração do Ano
Polar . Isto é um trabalho em conjunto com as actividades patrocinadas
pelo programa WAP WORLD ANTARCTIC PROGRAM e parte das actividades
científicas na Antártida. As bases italianas de Mario Zucchelli na Baia
Terranova é uma expressão desse esforço.

da Antártida.

Para obter o Diploma são necessários 5 contactos com 5 diferentes
estações .
Pode
contactar com a mesma estação em diferentes bandas mas só é
considerado válido apenas um contacto por estação.

The
ARI branch of Cassino, with the plead of the Lazio Regional Committee
taking the opportunity l INTERNATIONAL POLAR YEAR (IPY), is happy to
present the l INTERNATIONAL POLAR YEAR (IPY) Award, starting March 1st
2007 till the end of February 2009, as a contribution to the
International Polar Year . This is done in conjunction with the
activities sponsored by the WAP, WORLD ANTARCTIC PROGRAM and are part of
the international activities to celebrate the scientific activities in
Antartica. The Italian base Mario Zucchelli at Baia Terranova is the
main expression of this effort.

To obtain the award you need contacts with 5 different stations. You can
contact the same stations on different bands but one only contact will
be considered valid for the application.

The first applicant to claim 50 different stations will obtain a plaque.

Este
Certificado está disponivel para todos los radioamadores e radioescutas
com licença válida em todos o Mundo. Para a sua obtenção são
necessários três (3) QSO's em bandas distintas ou dois (2) QSO's
em Modos diferentes com a estação CQ4IPY.
LOG:
Enviar um log com as seguintes informações: Data,Hora UTC,Banda,
Modo e RST. Taxa:
A taxa para envio é de EUR 5,00 o 10
IRC's.

The Arctic World Award:
Rule of AWA Award
The A.R.I.
Section of Cassino helped by the A.W.A. Manager IØYKN Nuccio Meoli and by
IØOCD Christine Renaud, in the range of DX activities, has deliberated to
announce a permanent award called A.W.A. ARCTIC WORLD AWARD in order to
remember the Italian shipment of Umberto Nobile and the red tent lost
among the ice of the North Pole. The qso can be in any band and mode and
in whichever other digital mode.
The qso acknowledged since January 1st 1944. The qso done with the call
sign of ships laboratory and Arctic bases are equally valid (RAEM, U-POL
& Drifting Stations).
To obtain the A.W.A. the petitioner have to submit a log with 10 QSO/HRD
in at least 3 different land with operating stations above the 60th
parallel line of Boreal Hemisphere.
A Log, with directory of the qso/hrd verified by two OM will be enough,
however we shall request the vision of some QSL for an eventual control.
The cost of the award is € 10 or of $ 15.

Home Call of the Operators 'MØOXO' or 'G4RCG' can be used as the 'Jolly'

can be used ONCE only in each of the three levels of Award. Qsl Cards are
NOT required.
